Originally from Buena Vista, Colorado, Jennifer Rockhold has lived in Texas for over 10 years. Jen received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Rhodes State College in Ohio, graduating with Academic Honors and making the Dean’s List two years in a row. After working as a labor and delivery nurse, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas in Arlington, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Rockhold received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Baylor University in 2020.

Jen always loved studying the intricate processes of the human body. When Jen was in high school, she developed a special interest of caring for families. When serving the country in the Air Force, she was inspired by the nurses she worked with to pursue her nursing degree. Even before starting nursing school, she knew working in obstetrics care for women and newborns would be her passion. 

“I specialize in pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. I am committed to improving access to care for women with postpartum depression and with substance use disorders.”

During Jen’s  free time, she likes to travel or watch her kids play football and soccer throughout the year. The Rockhold family enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer work and neighborhood outreach programs with their church.
