Dr. Peter Sakovich is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sakovich received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He then attended Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock, Texas. Graduating in 1982, Dr. Sakovich began a family practice residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Forth Worth. He then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. From 1987-1994 he was in practice at Northeast Medical Clinic Association in the mid-cities. In 1994, he moved to Irving and founded MacArthur OB/GYN. After delivering over 5,000 babies Dr. Sakovich states that each delivery is still special and miraculous.

Dr. Sakovich is a frequent speaker on natural hormone therapy. He is Chairman of the Board of MacArthur Medical Center and Medical Board Member of Texas Health Surgery Center of Bedford. Also, he is the former Medical Staff President and currently serves as chairman of the OB/GYN department at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Irving and as the Director of Baylor Services for MacArthur Medical Center.

Dr. Sakovich was featured on NBC 5 after the birth of identical triplets to a Flower Mound couple. Odds of identical triplets are about 1 in 200 million.
