The round ligament attaches the front of your uterus to your groin; you have one on each side of your uterus. As your uterus grows, this ligament stretches causing a significant amount of pain in some women. This pain is often a stabbing or throbbing pain and may be worse on one side or the other. Sudden movements sometimes make it worse
